Kerri Pakurar is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism and special needs using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis since 1997, and for the past 10 years as the owner and operator of ABA Outreach in Charleston, SC. Before going into private practice, Kerri spent several years teaching special education in the public schools of North Carolina and South Carolina. Kerri’s research has been published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education Perspectives. Kerri is dedicated to the advocacy of individuals with autism in the state of South Carolina, and for several years has worked closely with other BCBA practitioners to ameliorate the SC Medicaid autism program and private insurance funding, as well as create and provide RBT training for SC stakeholders. She is the secretary of a Charleston-area quarterly ABA provider group, and has volunteered with the SC ABA board for the past year implementing OBM strategies to enhance SC ABA’s support of state providers and stakeholders.
