Special Needs Care Provider / Autism Caregiver

North Myrtle Beach, SC

(ideal for a RBT or someone seeking certification!)

Exceptional Educators is a group of professionals who have been supporting exceptional students and their families since 2008. We support the needs of diverse learners of all ages through a variety of educational, behavioral and counseling services provided via in-person and virtual formats.

Currently, Erika Huddle is a BCBA in Honolulu, HI with a client in Myrtle Beach. Erika provides behavior skills training to mother, who is looking to hire an RBT or BCBA candidate. The candidate would support a 12 year old male, on the autism spectrum with developing skills related to accessing community and recreation based activities. My agency would contract this individual at a competitive hourly rate for anywhere from 4-10 hours a week depending on needs and success of the interventions. The professional would work in the home and community setting.

Erika Huddle has worked with this family extensively for several years. They provide a wonderful working environment and truly respect those who help support their son. They are all a true delight to work with, most especially the tween boy on the autism spectrum.

Feel free to contact me with questions regarding this job posting. Pay rate will be competitive with the average pay rate for an RBT but may be more or less depending on the experience and qualification of the candidate. (Pay rate range: $17 - $25/hour)

Interested applicants can send their resume/CV and brief cover letter to Erika Huddle who will screen applicants and select qualified candidates to interview with mother and Erika via Zoom.
